# October 2025

Release · October 2025 Getting content in. Most documentation already exists somewhere else first.

Almost nobody starts a documentation site from an empty page. The content is in a PDF, a Word file, a Notion page or a Confluence space, and the real work is getting it across. This release built the road.

New **Import Center, a reusable document library.** Upload PDFs, Word files, text and markdown into one library, then reuse each document as many times as you like – to generate documentation pages, or to train a SmartDocs assistant. Importing a file and using a file became two separate steps, so the same source document can seed several pages without being uploaded again. [Import Center](/docs/import-center/import-center-overview).

New **OAuth connections to six services.** On **Pro** and above you can connect Google Drive, Notion, GitHub, Confluence, Jira or Dropbox and pick files directly, instead of exporting them by hand and uploading the result. Connections are per workspace and can be revoked at any time. [Connect a service](/docs/import-center/import-center-overview).

Improved **Import straight into an existing page.** An imported document no longer has to become a new page. From the editor you can pull a document's content into the page you already have open, which is the usual shape of the job when you are refreshing documentation rather than writing it from scratch.

## Performance and fixes

* Fixed Deleting a SmartDocs assistant left its queued training jobs behind, which could keep the queue busy processing work for an assistant that no longer existed. Training jobs are now removed with the assistant.
* Perf Large PDF and Word imports are processed in the background with visible progress, rather than holding the dialog open until the whole file is done.
* Fixed Files above the 10MB limit now fail immediately with a clear message instead of starting an upload that could not finish.
